The lady and a purse

Relaxed she is sitting on the bench

Her leather purse is wide open

to the eyes exposed her wallet

Suddenly, she is raising her head

her eyes are expanding anxiously

she is noticing me in a tracksuit

unmarked, unfashionable, decrepit

She is closing her purse, and

embracing it as unprotected child

Dear lady, if I were a thief

as a professional I would steal

with a halo and the white wings
